Kristen received her juris doctor from Whittier Law School. There she earned the distinctive Dean’s Merit Full Scholarship and was afforded the honor of serving on one of the school’s law journals. While at Whittier she concentrated in Estate Planning and Child Advocacy, serving internships in both areas of the law.
Prior to law school, Kristen served many years at Wachovia Bank, NA as a financial advisor. There, she assisted clients with retirement and investment planning. Following law school, and prior to establishing Forbes Law, she worked for several years with two Charlotte-area law firms specializing in estate planning and financial law. In addition to legal proficiency, clients appreciate Kristen’s warm, inviting and compassionate approach.
Kristen practices law out of Davidson and resides in town. Her husband, Mark Forbes, is an Episcopal priest, and their two children, Jack and Kate, attend school in the area. The family adores their chocolate lab, Nutmeg, and rescue dog, Papi.
She is licensed with the NC State Bar.
